I got some new Faber-Castell polychromos, and I had drawn this sketch in my 18x24 sketchbook weeks earlier, so I decided to color them last night. The picture's quality doesn't look too great, you'll have to trust me when I say it looks better in person. Jaime and Arya look a little funny, but I love how everyone else turned out
I wanted to use a different quote from the book it was something like "You heard what he said, Jon Snow deeds is stronger than words" or something that effect (sorry for my horrible paraphrasing ) but I decided to use this one because I liked it better than "You know nothing" lol.
Thank you so much! I thought that drawing Ygritte in my own way would be more fun, same with Margaery, because I do love their actresses, I think they play their parts well, but I have my own idea of them, and what they look like, and recreating their concepts was really fun And Ohmygoodness, I wish you could see Melissandre's hair in person, it looks good on here, but it looks far better in person, I loved coloring her
Yes, I forgot to mention Margaery too! I agree, the actresses are wonderful and play the parts spectacularly, but it's hard to get the image you had of the characters out of your head, especially when you read the books first.
O: I can't believe it could look even better than that, my brain is exploding Luckily your colours didn't get washed out like a lot of coloured pencils do, they all look really vibrant and beautiful
Oh no, I did do it intentionally, this is how I pictured Ygritte in the books, and I thought it'd be fun to try and draw her that way. I liked that she was supposed to have a pug-nose, and big teeth. I dunno if she had brown eyes, but I thought it would look cool. Thank you so much!
